Mosaic
I've been captivated by glass since childhood, collecting marbles and visiting glass museums throughout the years. Combined with my passion for color and our love of gardening, mosaics became the perfect creative outlet! Now I can create pieces that bring additional color and personality to our garden.
I work with an extensive collection of glass, metallic and vitreous tiles, but my favorite is stained glass from Bullseye Glass, crafted right here in Portland, Oregon.
I find inspiration in the flow of color, the playful energy of wildlife, and the hidden geometry in nature. The creative process itself brings me joy as I watch each mosaic come to life.
My studio may not be glamorous, but it's exactly what I need: functional, organized, and a joy to work in. This dedicated space in our garage allows me to work without worrying about rogue glass shards or grout powder indoors.
